Resolution adopting a Code of Boardsmanship as a public statement of expected Board Member conduct and ethics
Issue/Rationale
The School Board Chairman has requested the drafting of a resolution for consideration by the entire board which delineates the standards of conduct for the School Board members. A comprehensive resolution has been created for their consideration.
Recommended Action
Alternatives:
(1) Approve the adoption of the resolution which sets forth the standards for School Board member boardsmanship and conduct which will govern the activities of all School Board members of Clay County in the execution of their official duties.
(2) Reject the resolution which sets forth the standards for School Board member boardsmanship and conduct which will govern the activities of all School Board members of Clay County in the execution of their official duties.
(3) Alter the resolution which sets forth the standards for School Board member boardsmanship and conduct which will govern the activities of all School Board members of Clay County in the execution of their official duties.
